To Our Valued Partners,

The health and well-being of our team, customers, manufacturers, and the community is our highest priority. We continue to monitor the current global health situation with COVID-19.  Since early last year, we have implemented a number of contingency plans to ensure that we keep our team members safe, while supporting our customers and manufacturer partners with excellence. This incredibly important effort is being led by an internal task force team that is fully dedicated to this effort. Below is a brief update on a few key areas:

Supporting our Customers and Taking Care of Your Team

We have developed plans to ensure customer service continuity and limit operational disruption. A portion of our team is working at home in order to limit the number of potential exposure opportunities.  For those that are required to be in our branch offices, we have modified the floor plan to keep with the Health Canada guidelines of social distancing.  We require all those entering our buildings to undergo a standard health screening on a daily basis.  Masks are required when moving about our offices.  Our field service technicians are actively running service calls while following the Health Canada recommendations for mask-wearing, hand-washing and social distancing.  We have made a large investment in personal protective equipment and sanitizing products that our technicians are carrying with them in their service vehicles. We are also taking several significant steps to protect our parts counters and parts distribution team members, including contactless curbside pickup.

Taking Care of Our Team

We have restricted team members’ business travel and have implemented a process to monitor personal travel. We also want to protect the health and safety of our customers and manufacturer partners as we work through the current situation. As a result, we are encouraging our team members to set up conference calls or video conferences instead of in-person meetings and we have limited visitors into all of our locations. We are also limiting our near-term attendance at conferences and events, most of which have already been cancelled.

Safety is one of our core values and has always been our highest priority. We will continue to adapt as the health and safety requirements evolve. We believe that we are all in this together and we are committed to supporting and protecting our team, our customers, our manufacturer partners and the industry as we work to get through this.

We will keep you informed of any new information. If you have any questions, please reach out to your local team member.

Thank you for your partnership.

Sincerely,

Doug Scott
